ARTIST’S INSPIRATION:
“Whisper of the Woods” was inspired by the quiet wonder of spotting a great horned owl deep in the forest a rare and magical moment of connection with nature.
As I walked a winding path beneath the golden canopy of birch and autumn leaves, I caught sight of the owl perched silently on a branch, its watchful eyes blending perfectly into the dappled forest light. This painting captures that still, reverent feeling the sense of being observed by something wise, ancient, and unseen.
Through rich teal tones, copper-gold leaves, and textured birch trunks, I’ve layered paint to convey both the serenity and mystery of the woodland. “Whisper of the Woods” invites you to pause, listen, and feel the forest’s living breath around you a moment suspended between stillness and wonder.
