AMANDA'S INSPIRATION:
Inspired by the fresh, quiet lift that arrives with early spring, this blossom tree was painted as a gentle reminder of new beginnings, soft light, open air, along with that calm feeling. I built the petals in thick, tactile layers so the surface feels as alive as the season itself, with raised impasto marks that catch the light and invite you to look closer. The painting continues around the edges
