Daisy Dance | Original Painting

Daisy Dance is an original textured acrylic painting filled with pale daisies, wild green growth and the gentle movement of a summer garden. A yellow butterfly moves among the flowers, bringing a small spark of life to the soft blues, greens and delicate petals surrounding it.

There is an airy freedom to this painting that I love. Rather than creating a perfectly arranged garden, I wanted the flowers to feel as though they had grown there naturally, leaning into one another and moving with the breeze.

Amanda’s Inspiration

Daisies have always seemed wonderfully uncomplicated to me. They appear in lawns, meadows and forgotten corners, yet they can transform an ordinary patch of ground into something joyful.

With Daisy Dance, I wanted to capture that feeling of being surrounded by growing things and noticing the tiny lives sharing the garden with us. The butterfly became part of that story, a fleeting moment of movement among the flowers.

This painting is part of The Living Garden, a collection celebrating flowers, light, butterflies, bees and the quiet abundance of the natural world.
